I have been thinking up this list for months now and have finally narrowed it down! So without further ado, here are my favourite (mainly) beauty products.

  • Nail polishes…Essie in Ruby Slippers, Zoya in Crystal and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in. I made myself narrow it down to three! These are all gorgeous shades, great application and fairly unique.
  • Proclaim Argan Oil conditioner.  I’m in love with this conditioner. I have never had something make my hair so soft and feel freshly cut. I use a very small amount of this, even on my thick hair. I purchased this at Sally Beauty.
  • eufora Smooth n Straightening Cream.  I bought this at Jaime Nicole Salon & Spa where I get my hair cut. You apply it to damp hair and it really helps smooth flyaways and keep my thick wavy hair under control. A little bit goes a long way!
  • honey! I have been using this to wash my face for the past few weeks and can’t believe how great it is! My skin is clear, not dry or oily and my makeup has even been applying better so my skin must be cleaner/smoother.  You apply around a tablespoon to damp skin, rubbing it around to cover every spot on your face and then wash it off. Smells nice too!
  • Scentsy bars in My Wish and Coconut Lemongrass. I have been using Scentsy as my home fragrance for the past (almost) two years and absolutely love it.  I doubt there is anything out there that would work better!
  • Color Club 0-60 Speed Top Coat. This has a thin, shiny application that works very well over wet polish and dries in 60 seconds. I prefer it over Revlon Quick Dry and Sally Hansen Mega Shine.
  • MAC Fluidline. I think anyone who owns this will say it’s a favourite of theirs. This eye liner is easy to apply and DOES NOT MOVE.  Seriously, this will stay on all day… longer if you let it!
  • elf Cream Eyeliner in Midnight. This is a great alternative to MAC fluidline for a fraction of the price. It doesn’t last as long but generally stays put all day.  It’s a bit trickier to apply but still a favourite of mine when I factor in the price and how well it works.
  • Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/liner in Birthday Suit. A great basic eyeshadow. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t crease and can be easily built up for more colour.
  • Benefit Stay Don’t Stray eye primer. Just a great primer for your eyelid as well as under your eye. It has a matte effect which I like and you only need to apply a tiny bit.
  • Party Gals Shave Souffle and Shave Sheild by Taboo Essentials. Finally, I found a way to prevent redness and ingrown hairs! I use this on my bikini line and it’s wonderful. The shave cream applies like a lotion. You use the shave spray-post shower and it really prevents redness.
  • Redken Mega Shine Spray. I got this from Birchbox last month and love it! It gives my hair a bit of shine and makes it feel super soft! It’s especially great the day after you wash your hair but want to wear it down because it really gives it a freshly washed look.
  • Korres Guava Showergel. I consider this my spa trip in a bottle. Something about the scent is so luxerious to me! It is also very moisturizing, so much so I even use it to shave my legs!
  • Batiste Dry Shampoo. Dry shampoos are such a great invention and this one is perfect.
  • Dr Murad Essential-C Day Moisture with SPF 30. I have used this on my face every morning for the past year.  I LOVE it.
