Digital Magazines and e-zines are a great way to save paper. A lot of major magazines now give you the option of paper subscription or digital. Sometimes when you subscribe by paper, you can get it online for free (iPad often allows this). There are also magazines that are solely online which are called webzines or e-zines.

Also, check out Zinio where you can read a ton of magazines online. Some are free while others you have to subscribe to. It’s what I use to read Nylon magazine.
