On May 29, I travelled with a friend across the water (I live on Vancouver Island) to the Vancouver Sustainable Living Expo – Western Canada’s largest sustainable consumer tradeshow and eco marketplace. It was held at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Center, downtown Vancouver. We decided to skip the ferry, which would take us 2 hours to get there, and went on a float plane (20 min!) from Nanaimo.
I travelled with Lynda Diamond, owner of the Island Estuary B&B, and cook extraordinaire.
Unfortunately it was a little rainy, but the view of the city was still amazing! This is just before landing.
