Today I am going to review the items I own from Lemongrass Spa which I mentioned here.
I think all of these items are very fairly priced especially considering the fact that they are all natural, organic and cruelty free. The product sizes are also quite large! You only use a small amount so each product will last a while. The packing is attractive, mature and functional. I’m very happy with the product I chose and recommend them all.
Please note that I took these pictures after having the products for a few weeks and using them regularly.
Everyone should have a sugar scrub in their bathroom. They are miracle workers! The Lemongrass Spa Body Polish is no exception. I went with lemon sorbet scent which smells amazing, like lemonade. I mostly use this on my hands but it’s great all over (not the face; they sell a specific face one which is more gentle). Use it before you shave and you will have the closest shave ever! This brings your natural oils out, leaving you with super soft skin.
Ingredients: White Sugar, Mango Butter, Apricot Kernal Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera Gel, Powdered Sugar, Lemon Peel Powder, Orange Peel Powder, Phthalate-free Fragrance, Lemongrass Essential Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Grapefruit Seed Extract.
I had no idea walnut hulls could be used as a foot scrub! This does a great job of exfoliating the feet. I like that it’s a very fine gritty texture like sand, able to get into the small areas like your cuticles. The smell is interesting. I can smell both the peppermint and citrus mainly.
Ingredients: Fine Sea Salt, Sunflower Oil, Kaolin Clay, Polyglucose, Walnut Hulls, Lemon Peels, Orange Peels, Vegetable Glyercin, Essential Oils of Peppermint, Spearmint, Tea Tree & Sage, Vitamin E Oil.
You can put this in the shower or bath and the peppermint oil is great if you have a cold or sinus issues! I’ve taken a couple baths with it so far and it just smells so amazing, really like candy canes. It’s also a very large bottle so it will last you a while!
Ingredients: Rock Salt, Vitamin E Oil, and Peppermint Essential Oil.
This is one of my favourite products. It’s not like a typical mask. It goes on almost like an oily lotion and it doesn’t dry. After you remove it, you will be amazing at how soft and moisturzed your skin is. It blows me away every time! The scent is subtle but nice and lingers for a while on the skin. They also make one for oily skin using tea tree oil.
Ingredients: water, kaolin clay, pink kaolin clay, shea butter, olive butter, vegetable emulsifying wax, honeysuckle hydrosol, allantoin, pomegranate seed extract, Vitamin E oil, phthalate-free fragrance, Optiphen.
This is the first eye creme I’ve ever used where I could actually see a difference. The skin around and under my eyes looks tighter and less dark. It’s also softer, especially when I first use the lotion; it feels so nice. You use a tiny little pin head amount so you are getting a ton of product for the price.
The ingredients are not listed online for the witch hazel one but here are the ingredients for the “Hydrating Eye Creme with Cucumber Extract”
Ingredients: Aloe vera juice, cucumber extract, olive oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, sunflower seed extract, vegetable glycerin, evening primrose oil, rose hip oil, emulsifying vegetable wax, corn starch, vitamin E oil, raspberry seed oil, gluconolactone, sodium benzoate (preservative). Paraben-free formula.
My feet are definitely softer after using this and I find it very relaxing. I also like adding it to my baths! The peppermint smell is really nice. Epsom salts are detoxifying aka help remove toxins from your skin.
Ingredients: Epsom Salts, Castor Oil, Peppermint Leaf, Spearmint Leaf, Sage, Essential Oils of Spearmint, Peppermint, and Tea Tree.
I’ve tried toners in the past but they often irritated my skin. This doesn’t. The spray bottle makes it very easy to apply. What I really like about this is that it isn’t drying at all on my skin and the smell isn’t offensive. I use it before applying moisturizer as it is meant to help your skin absorb your moisturizer. Witch hazel is very effective at preventing acne.
Ingredients: purified water, witch hazel ,water, jojoba oil, honeysuckle, vitamin E oil, polysorbate 20, rose geranium essential oil, and jasmine essential oil.
I like the long handle and the bristles are so incredibly soft! It feels amazing on my skin and of high quality. I like using this to apply bronzer or pressed powder. It’s very light on the skin.
This stuff smells amazing, first of all. I love the “amber” scent they have. I find this a bit tricky to apply and you have to use a fair bit of it but it really does give you a great bronzed glow! Great for special events.
Ingredients: Shea butter, Coconut Oil, mango butter, beeswax, bronze mica, silver mica, phthalate-free fragrance oil and natural Vitamin E oil.
I personally don’t like this particular scent but I do really like the soap itself and it comes in many other great scents! One pump is plenty. My hands feel super clean after but not sticky or dried out.
The ingredient for “cucumber melon” aren’t listed but here they are for “lemon sorbet”: Water, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Olive Oil, (Sodium Borate) Borax, Honey, Phthalate-free Fragrance and Lemongrass Essential Oil.
