Product Description

The classic simplicity of this style, combined with organic fabrics and exceptional tailoring, create a window covering that is both beautiful and eco-friendly. Our custom roman shades can be used alone, or combined with other treatments.

All of our shades are crafted one at a time, in our studio. Please allow 3-4 weeks production time.

With our classic style shades, the fold lines are inverted and seamed, creating precise, defined folds when raised and clean horizontal lines at aprox 6″ intervals when lowered. The blinds fall into neat folds when opened (we use removable rods in the back) and lay flat with small pleats in the back when closed.
With printed fabrics we use a flat method that has no seams. Shade tape is sewn onto the back of the shade instead so that the fabric print is not interrupted.

Installation: The shades can be mounted inside or outside your window. Please refer to our measuring guide and record the length and width to the nearest 1/8″. Use a decimal number, for example, 36.25 for 36 1/4″. We will subtract 1/4″ width for inside mount shades.

The shades are easy to install. All hardware and installation instructions are included.

Our shades all come with cord locks, so that they can be opened to any height easily. The strings and cord locks are hidden behind the shade. If you have small children, we recommend that you mount a cleat up high on the side of the window, to wrap the cords around. Or contact us about upgrading to a continuous chain system with a child safety lock.

Options: Our Classic Style roman shades are fully lined to provide longer wear, increased insulation, and more privacy. We offer 3 different linings to choose from. If you prefer to have your shade unlined, choose no lining.

Warning: Always keep cords out of children’s reach.  Move cribs, playpens, and other furniture away from cords and bead chains.  Children can climb furniture to get to cords.  Always wrap the cords around cleats in a figure 8, up high, out of reach of children.
